How we'll look after your data

We'll store your personal data securely and handle it in line with UK data protection legislation.

1. Your name and contact details

We'll keep your name and contact details till we have answered your enquiry and for up to three months afterwards. We'll then securely delete it unless you’ve asked us to keep it for some reason. We will not share your name or contact details with other organisations unless you ask for us to do so.

2. Details of your enquiry

We will keep non-identifiable (anonymised or aggregated) details of your enquiry on an anonymous record: this record will list things such as:

  • Anonymised information about enquirers (for example, your nearest town; your employment status; your age; number of dependants).

We share some of this anonymised data with:

  • Our funder, and other agencies locally and nationally, to help increase understanding of the needs of BN(O) status holders in the UK, and priorities and issues of BN(O) integration in the UK; and to help with planning services.

If you don’t want us to record anonymised details of your enquiry, please let us know and we will make sure we don’t record it.
