Senior Caseworker (Destitution) - St. Augustine's Centre

Hours: 30 hours (4 days) per week. 2 years fixed-term contract

Salary: £15.32 per hour

Location: Halifax, West Yorkshire

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen at St Augustine’s Centre in Halifax, which will help implement their vision to end homelessness and destitution in Calderdale for people fleeing war and persecution. The role involves providing frontline advice and support to people facing destitution, working alongside Refugees at Home to develop and embed a hosting offer in Calderdale. The post holder will work strategically, and alongside key partners, to implement a new 3-year strategy to end homelessness and destitution for people who become homeless as a result of their immigration status.

Communications Co-ordinator - St Augustine's Centre 

Hours: 30 hours (4 days) a week. 2-year fixed-term contract

Salary: £13.73 per hour (annual salary of £21,477; full-time annual salary of £26,847)

St. Augustine's Centre are seeking a communications professional with strong relationship building skills, expertise in digital communications and a passion for storytelling. You will be at home within the vibrant, busy atmosphere of a refugee community centre, and a highly organised self-starter with an eye for detail.
