Learning from the Afghan bridging hotels experience

Are you an Afghan who has arrived via the Afghan Relocation and Assistance Policy (ARAP) or the Afghan Citizens Resettlement Scheme (ACRS)?

Who is conducting the research?

We are researchers from Leeds Beckett University and Migration Yorkshire, an organisation that supports people and organisations to achieve the most positive outcomes of migration for everyone in the region.

What is the research for?

We want to learn from your experience of moving to live in the UK and to listen about your time spent in the hotels, including the support and information you have received, and what worked well and what could be improved. 

We hope that what we learn from you will help policymakers, Local Authorities, and others support refugee resettlement in the future.

If you are interested in speaking to us, please contact Migration Yorkshire at research@migrationyorkshire.org.uk. The interview will last up to one hour and can be online via Microsoft Teams or in person if you prefer, and we can arrange an interpreter.
