Description Offers young people the chance to meet other young people, benefit from 1-1 youth worker support, take part in activities, and have fun. We provide refreshments and any activities we take part in are fully funded by RUBIC, including travel costs.

For unaccompanied asylum seeking children and young people [up to the age of 25]

How to join Young people or carers can get in touch themselves and we can also take referrals from social workers, who can give us a call on 0114 234 8846.


 

West Yorkshire

Surviving to Thriving

Description Provides young refugees and asylum seekers with the life skills, advice, mental health support and leadership opportunities to rebuild their lives and thrive in the UK.

For young refugees and asylum seekers [age 11 to 25]

Connecting Opportunities

Description Connecting Opportunities is an integration and employment service for migrants [including UASC]. It helps to improve English, develop the skills needed to gain employment in the UK, feel part of the community and increase confidence and well-being. Travel and childcare costs are paid for.

For migrants age 15 and above who have leave to remain and permission to work but who are not in paid work

National Citizen Service [NCS]

Description National Citizen Service is a programme designed to provide young people with all sorts of new experiences - discover who you who you are and what you can do!

For Young people aged 15-17 who speak reasonably good English and are confident enough to spend some time away from home and with new people might find this a positive experience
