Share your views on refugee integration: online questionnaire available in five languages

The new regional Refugee Integration Strategy is continuing to be developed by Migration Yorkshire, with the input of services and individuals from across Yorkshire and the Humber. We have already run a successful series of strategy workshops, bringing together organisations and voices from the whole spectrum of the Refugee and Asylum Seeker sector, to gather views and ideas on how to make this strategy inclusive and effective for the whole region.

Now, we are opening the consultation further to those who want to participate.

How to get involved

You can complete our questionnaire at the following link:

The questionnaire is available in five languages:

  • Arabic
  • English
  • Farsi
  • Kurdish Sorani
  • Tigrinya

The questionnaire asks stakeholders to evaluate refugee integration in the region from a range of perspectives. It should take about ten minutes to complete, and the information provided will help develop the new strategy, including aims, objectives and priorities.

We appreciate your participation, and if you feel there are others whose voices we would benefit from hearing, please feel free to encourage and signpost them towards the questionnaire. We are particularly keen that those with lived experience, including refugees and asylum seekers, contribute their views.

'The new Refugee Integration Strategy for Yorkshire and Humber is about improving the outcomes for refugees and asylum seekers. To achieve that, it needs to be informed by the views and comments of all those who have a stake in refugee integration, particularly those with lived experience of lived migration.' – Saulo Cwerner, Integration Strategy Manager
