An overview of the latest statistics, policy and research on migration issues affecting partner organisations in Yorkshire and Humber.

A summary of the report is:
- UK net migration is stable at 283,000. A diverging trend has occurred between non-EU and EU net migration since the EU referendum.
- Arrivals across the Channel have become a new issue.
- The post-Brexit immigration system is being developed through a White Paper and new Immigration Bill.
- There have been 150,000 applications to the EU settlement scheme through pilots as of the end of February. Of those 135,000+ processed, none have been refused. The main scheme will open for all applicants on 30 March.
- Asylum contracts have been announced for the next decade.
- Next steps on the government’s Integrated Communities Strategy include an Action Plan with specific activities around migration.
