Outline

Solace is a charity offering the following services to asylum seekers and refugees only, mostly but not exclusively in Leeds:

  • counselling
  • psychotherapy
  • an advocacy drop in on Thursday afternoons for Solace clients
  • pain management therapies

Solace works mostly with adults with some family work. Most of Solace's work is one-to-one, but some is group work or family work. Interpreters are used for about half of all therapy sessions.

The opening times shown below are for the Leeds office. Solace also works in Bradford on Wednesdays.

We cover the following areas Bradford, Leeds, - though clients may come from across the Yorkshire region. In the near future we are planning to work in multiple locations across West Yorkshire and beyond.
