A higher proportion of men arrived: 52% men compared with 48% women.

Where are people arriving from?

42% of all arrivals were from the EU, 6% fewer than 2018.

What’s changing locally?

Arrivals to Bradford increased in 2019:

  • 18% more people arrived compared to 2018.
  • Arrivals from Pakistan changed the most: 247 more people arrived than in 2018.
  • Across the UK, immigration rose by 20%, while in Yorkshire and Humber it rose by 18%.
