Open Door aims to maximise access to health and social care services to groups who find accessing traditional mainstream services difficult, in order to promote their health. For example we work with refugees, asylum seekers, other new migrants, and homeless people.

Open Doors aims to provide a warm and friendly welcome to asylum seekers, refugees and migrant workers, offering a safe place for association and practical and social assistance to people of all faiths and none.

Drop-in - Thursdays 10am-1pm

At the drop-in, we offer free morning refreshments and a hot two/three course lunch, cooked on the premises. The drop-in is staffed mainly by volunteers, some of whom are themselves refugees or asylum seekers.  We offer many services and activities, at the drop-in, such as:

Some limited accommodation is also available locally.

Open Doors is funded by church organisations, personal donations, national and local funding bodies.
