News item 26 August 2021:

Logo - Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local GovernmentMigration Yorkshire are hosting ‘Hong Kong BNO Welcome Events’ which offer a platform for Hongkongers arriving to Yorkshire and Humber to find out more about our role in the delivery of the Welcome Programme and support available, and ask questions and share their experiences on moving and settling in the region.

Events will take place via Zoom and those interested can join anonymously. If you have any queries, please email admin@migrationyorkshire.org.uk

Who is organising these events?

Migration Yorkshire leads on the Hong Kong Hub in Yorkshire and Humber covering cities such as Leeds, Sheffield, York, Hull and Harrogate. We are here to help new arrivals from Hong Kong to settle and thrive in their local communities.

Why should I attend this event?

  • It's an opportunity to say hello and hear about and influence plans for support available in Yorkshire and Humber.
  • Share experiences of moving to the region and difficulties encountered to find solutions to systematic issues.
  • Find out about local services and organisations already welcoming new arrivals.

Data protection

  • You can join anonymously.
  • We will not be collecting personal data.
  • No need to register, just show up.
