Abigail Housing is a West Yorkshire-based charitable company dedicated to providing housing to people made homeless at the end of the asylum process.

We currently run 2 projects:

The Asylum Seekers Project - Bradford

Abigail Housing
c/o The Brathay Trust, Cathedral Hall
Stott Hill
Phone  07908 364 112

We run houses donated to the project by sympathetic landlords across the Bradford area. In these houses we accommodate refused asylum seekers who are either working towards submitting fresh claims / evidence to the Home Office or are considering voluntary return. We support residents while they are accommodated by us with food, money and advice.

Needs: we need sympathetic landlords with empty properties to consider letting us use their houses for little or no rent. We also need regular financial supporters and others who can donate household items or their time.

Refugee Housing Project - Leeds

Abigail Housing
Woodhouse Community Centre
197 Woodhouse Street
Phone 07743 189 314

To make an appointment, please phone us.

We manage properties across the Leeds area, housing refugees who have recently been granted leave to remain in the UK. We currently manage around 60 bed spaces which include many shared houses, hostels and flats. We help residents navigate through the benefit system and help them access education and employment to ensure they build a healthy life in the UK.
