Refugee Support Service

The British Red Cross provides support to destitute asylum seekers through weekly drop-in services in Hull and in South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire.

Our weekly casework drop-in services provide practical and emotional support to refugees and asylum seekers. We can provide:

  • Information and knowledge about asylum issues
  • One-to-one advice and support if you are at risk of becoming destitute
  • Emergency provisions including food parcels and blankets
  • Help with accessing health, education, welfare and legal services
  • Details of other services and agencies supporting refugees and asylum seekers

We may also be able to offer an appointment with a caseworker for more complex issues.
