Employers: could you offer work experience or employment to someone new to the UK?

We're seeking Yorkshire-based employers to help new migrants get employment and work experience. Connecting Opportunities participants have a variety of career backgrounds and experience, from mechanics to pharmacists to support workers.

It doesn’t matter if your organisation has little or no previous experience of working with migrants. Language doesn't have to be a barrier, as participants have access to English classes and our staff will be on hand to support you. We operate throughout West Yorkshire and in parts of North Yorkshire [Craven, Harrogate, Selby and York].

Benefits to you:

  • Access new talent.
  • Help migrants to integrate.
  • Provide valuable work experience and boost confidence.
  • Social responsibility in your community.
  • Gain a more diverse workforce with additional languages.

We will support you with:

  • A full induction.
  • Ongoing advice.
  • Sorting out documentation and confirming right to work.
  • Publicising your valuable contribution to the project.
