Employers: could your company help someone new to the UK gain employment or work experience?

We're seeking Yorkshire employers to help new migrants access employment and work experience. Your support could provide someone with the opportunity to join the workforce. Help Connecting Opportunities participants to use their existing experience and build up valuable new skills.

It doesn’t matter if your organisation has little or no previous experience of working with migrants. If you work with us, you’ll be supported and trained by Connecting Opportunities staff in your area. We operate throughout West Yorkshire and in parts of North Yorkshire [Craven, Harrogate, Selby and York].

You will:

  • Access new talent.
  • Make a difference to people’s lives.
  • Help participants gain confidence in a work environment.
  • Provide valuable work experience.
  • Gain experience of working with migrants.

We will support you with:

  • A full induction.
  • Ongoing advice.
  • Sorting out documentation and confirming right to work.
  • Publicising your valuable contribution to the project.
