Tenders: qualitative research and project evaluation

News item 07 September 2018:

Place-based data and mitigating local impacts of migration

What is the experience of migration at a neighbourhood level across Yorkshire and the Humber?

What local factors and interventions impact on local pressures associated with recent migration?

If you think your organisation could answer these questions, you might be interested in working in partnership with Migration Yorkshire on an exciting research project, funded by the MHCLG Controlling Migration Fund. The overall project aim is to address the incomplete understanding of how and why migration impacts differently on local communities in Yorkshire and Humber, in order to inform the future work of local authorities across the region.

We're advertising 2 tenders for the work:

  1. Place-based data and mitigating local impacts of migration: qualitative research This contract is for conducting qualitative research, to be completed by the end of March 2020. We're looking for organisations with an excellent track record of delivering high quality qualitative research, and with an understanding of the issues for changing communities in the region. The contract is worth £150,000.
  2. Place-based data and mitigating local impacts of migration: project evaluation This contract is for undertaking an evaluation of the whole project by August 2020. The contract is worth £20,000.

Organisations are welcome to bid for both contracts, please note however that a tenderer will only be awarded a maximum of one of these contracts. If a tenderer submits the highest scoring bid for both contracts, that tenderer will be asked to state which contract they wish to be awarded.

Closing date for both tenders

Wednesday 3 October 2018 at 12 noon.
